There's this thing called being a senior.
And it's sort of really REALLY stressful.
All through high school I've dreamed and wished about my senior year
thinking about all the fun things I want to do and planning it to be oh so great...
but here's the thing.
Being a senior, well it kinda sucks.
Between classes, scholarships and college applications, well it gets sorta stressful.
Well ok... REALLY stressful.
I'm about ready to rip my hair out.
So of course, like any good procrastinator, I avoid it all like the plague.
Cause I'm cool like that.

The Miserable Ones
I'm going to be on a bit of a serious note for this one. Sorry to disappoint.
Les Miserables.
It's kinda been my life for the last 3 months.
Consuming my every waking moment... and some of my sleeping ones too.
I love it.
And this weekend are our final performances. I can't bear to lose it.
I'm going to cry closing night.
I'm going to feel so empty without it.
Every show you do is different. They have a different environment, a different feeling with each one. And this one... Has changed my life. I'd like to say thank you to everyone involved. Thank you techies for your speedy mic changes and always being so on top of all the set changes. Thank you to Mamma Wygant and to Bauer. Without you this show couldn't have been possible. Thank you for giving me the opprotunity to be part of something so wonderful. Thank you to A^K for being the best stage manager anyone could have asked for. And thank you to my fellow cast members. I love you all. Without you, I wouldn't have been able to have the expierence I've had. I've made so many new friends and so many old friendships have been rekindled... Thank you.
I owe so much to this play and I didn't even realize any of it until opening night when A^K told us how Les Mis has changed her life and how we've been the best cast and crew she could've asked for. She told us how she loved us all so much and how she couldn't have asked for a better senior year. And I started to think. This may be the last musical I EVER do. And I got really sad, but then I got really happy because I know just as well as A^K knows... I couldn't have asked for anything better. The first day of rehearsal I just kept thinking how it was going to take so long to get to opening night, and slowly it just popped up. Days seemed to pass by where I was building the set and everyone came in for rehearsal and before I knew it rehearsal was over, and it was time to go home. So many of those days passed me by. SO MUCH of the rehearsals I just spent enjoying the music, enjoying the people, and enjoying Les Mis. I love it so much.
So if you get a chance, come see it. It's good. And I'm not just saying that because I'm in it. Trust me, I would tell you if it sucked.

Old Hallows Eve
Halloween. A glorious holiday where small children dress up in ADORABLE costumes and people can dress in whatever the heck they want and no one judges them. I believe we should all have this kind of attitude all of the time. Who cares what people wear it's their lives. Let 'em do whatever the heck they want, it doesn't effect you.
Anyway... On a lighter note. I love Halloween. It's grand, a grand ol' time. I haven't really dressed up the last couple years( I like to pretend I'm one of those cool kids..) but this year I did. 6 of my friends and I dressed up as the 7 dwarves. We dressed up in tshirts and hats which I had spend all hours of the night making. It was grand, unfortunately we didn't get any pictures. I then spent that night party hopping. Smalls and I went to a butter beer party where we made butter beer from harry potter, and I must say it was AWFUL! The foam kept reproducing. We then got picked up by a newly found friend, Curly. He, McKayKay, Smalls and I headed over to A^K's house to party it up and watch movies. But that didn't quite happen like it was planned to... Smalls was having a hard time soooo McKayKay, Curly and I played on A^K's spiral staircase outside. It was quite the adventure
I'd like to take a moment and thank Mckaykay..(again) for being such a great example to me. she always sees the positive in everything and has a great outlook on life. And I adore her for that.

Band Name... Band Name...
So I have this thing for band names...
OK, so it's not so much me as it is my friends...
OK, not so much my friends as... J*Coy...
Back on topic. Band names.
They're fun. Anytime someone says something and it sounds kinda cool "Hey! that could be a band name"
I have a few favorites myself
"The Blue Zoo"- Courtesy of McKayKay
"The Loudest Whisper"- That one's mine :)
But my all time FAVORITE
"Hefty Mallard"
this one's all Ren's.
So we went on this double date. Ike and I and J*Coy and Ren.
We went to get icecream at our local handy dandy Macey's.
And we basically ran into all of our friends there. SOOOO what's the logical thing for them to do?
Fill Ike's car with random things.
New moon pictures and wolf figurines,
Old movies and...
One Hefty Mallard.
There was a wooden duck sitting in between the two front seats.
Highlight of the night? Perhaps? NAH! But that's for another post.
SOOOOOooooOOOOO in memory of that night
I made album covers,
for our band,
Hefty Mallard
Here's to you Hefty Mallard

Y Patrol
BYU.
Ok, it's a school, but it's wonderful.
And if you didn't know there's a GIANT Y on the side of the mountain for it.
Kinda hard to miss.
And we hiked it, SupAwk and I.
And we LOVED it.

HOMECOMING
Homecoming.
It's a wonderful thing.
A week full of school spirit and fun activities that you always forget about before the end of the year, but I don't think I'm going to forget about this one.
Powderpuff. First time EVER where the Seniors lost.
Upset but not broken.
Our football game? Ya, we lost, but I still had so much fun I didn't care. And so many people came out for the game. Did they care we lost? Not one bit. They just loved the feeling of it all. And it was great.
Then the dance.
Who asked me?
Good old Brianiac. One of my bestest friends in the whole world.
We went on a hike. And it was way too much fun for any of our good.

The real fun started that night.
Pictures and Tucanos :)
THEN
Chalk art festival and the dance.
Movie at one of the boy's houses and home.
Needless to say, best homecoming ever.
Good group.
Great date.
Homecoming?
Too much fun for our own good

What a Shakepierence
A couple weeks ago I had the fabulous opportunity to go to the SUU Shakespeare festival.
All I can say...
WOW
Changed my life.
Between staying up late, getting locked in closets, hot tubs, Chinese buffets, Hamlet, awkward experiences, telling random people they were attractive and getting a guy's number, I made new friends and my testimony grew.
Oh! I have a new favorite game, Magic T.V.
Ask the T.V. any question, really any question and it will show you the answer.
Because of this my wedding is going to look like Phineas and Ferb, it's the only logical option :)
Performing. Probably one of the best things I've ever done.
And kissing J.A. on the cheek was definitely a first for me.
I love Shakespeare. And I love acting.
This will never change.
The world IS our stage.

"Spiritual Directory Assistance"
Do you ever get that feeling inside where you just feel empty?
You just want to scream, or cry, or both.
I feel like that alot lately. And I'm not entirely sure why.
And I don't like it. I don't feel like me.
I don't feel like anyone's listening.
But I've got this friend. McKayKay.
She's great.
She saw I was down and she came up to me and asked me what was wrong.
I said I was fine but... she knew better. And I love her for being so in tune with the spirit that she knew that.
But she didn't push me.
Instead she came and sat beside me with her little notebook, opened it to a page and set it on my lap.
I read the words at the top of the page.
"Spiritual Directory Assistance"
Underneath that was a list of scriptures. And the first one?
"when you need to feel loved John 15:13"
I was just about moved to tears.
I told her I didn't have any scriptures so she got me some.
I didn't read them right then but when I got home you can bet that was the first thing I did.
I have awesome friends. Who do awesome things.
They love me even if I don't always feel it.

Pajama Church
You know what's wonderful?
General Conference.
Fabulous. Wonderful.
Twice a year we get to hear from our general authorities, and it's the best 2 days.
So here's my top 3
Elder Holland's talk... I love this so much.
Sister Dibb.... YOU are amazing
This made me giddy.
Heavenly Father, you sure know how to bless me.

Spirits up
Doctor Who's new season is coming out in about a week (even though it was supposed to come out tomorrow) but to get in the spirit here's some pictures and a few of my favorite quotes.
"He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the centre of time and can see the turn of the universe. and... he's wonderful."
-Martha The Family of Blood
The Doctor: Doctor Song, you've got that face on again.
River: What face?
The Doctor: The "He's hot when he's clever" face.
River: This is my normal face.
The Doctor: Yes it is.
River: Oh, shut up.
The Doctor: Not a chance.
"The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. Good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things or make them unimportant". - 11th Doctor, Vincent and the Doctor.
The Doctor: 'You know when grown-ups tell you everything's going to be fine, but you really think they're lying to make you feel better?'
Amelia: 'Yeah...'
The Doctor: 'Everything's going to be fine.
Amy Pond: 'I thought... well, I started to think you were just a madman with a box.'
The Doctor: 'Amy Pond, there's something you better understand about me, 'cause it's important and one day your life may depend on it. [He Smiles] I am definitely a madman with a box.”
“People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff.”
And my 3 favorite Doctor Who quotes of all time....
"I love you, too. Don't let me in. Tell Amy, your Amy: I'm giving her the days-the days with you, the days to come, the days I can't have. Take them, please. I'm giving the days."
Old Amy to Rory Doctor Who: The Girl Who Waited
" Every time you see them happy you remember how sad they’re going to be and it breaks your heart. Because what’s the point in them being happy now if they’re going to be sad later? The answer is, of course, because they’re going to be sad later."
The Doctor, The Doctor, the witch and the wardrobe
and last but DEFINITELY not least
“Ever fancied someone you know you shouldn’t? Hurts, doesn’t it?But kind of a good hurt."
-Amy The Victory of the Daleks

Missing and Wishing
I basically have the most adorable cousins in the world.
Well technically they're my cousin's children sooo 2nd cousins. But who's paying attention to that.
They are seriously ADORABLE!
SEE!! What'd I say? ADORABLE? I think yes!
Well basically we used to babysit them 3 times a week.
Then they decided to move off to Pennsylvania and stuff.
Psssh. So overrated right?
Well anyway. I miss them. I miss Thing 1 being bossy and Thing 2's laugh that is like bubbles.
I miss Thing 1 always begging me to let her feed my fish.
And I miss how I was the only one who could get Thing 2 to stop crying (besides his mom of course)
I miss them tons. And it's only been 2 weeks.
I propose they visit soon. Deal? Deal! :)

Missionaries
I have this friend.
His name is Scotthew.
He's basically one of my best friends in the whole world.
He always knows exactly what to say.
He listens even when he's having problems.
He will drop everything for you.
And now he's going on a mission.
And I've got a feeling he's gonna be the best missionary ever.
Good luck out there Scotthew.

I am blessed
Girls Camp is basically the best thing ever. BASICALLY.
Heavenly Father was definately looking out for me.
My ward is SO wonderful. Every girl was so happy.
And girls camp was a huge blessing.
It was exactly what I needed when I needed it.
Right before camp I got cut from the soccer team. And needless to say I was upset.
While I was up there I was showed so much love and so much joy it was easy to forget about it.
And I know Heavenly Father was looking out for me.
The Church is true.

Dance your heart out
I love dances.
Stake dances, School dances, Red dances, blue dances... wait a minute.
BASICALLY stake dances are boss. You get to see your friends, you get to dance like an idiot and sing songs at the top of your lungs. Who couldn't ask for more?
Then again dances can be awkward. That guy that has a crush on you could ask you to dance. Or worse! Your crush could ask you dance, then the teasing from your friends will never end.
You never get too old or dances.

Farewell to summer
Summer's almost over. I can count the days now on one hand.
And that is a sad sad thing.
No more late night adventures.
No more sleeping in til noon and staying up 'til 3 in the A.M.
No more singing to strangers in other cars,
No more random chalk adventures.
No more swimming and tanning.
No more flip flops and shorts.
No more playing fugitive.
Goodbye to sleepovers and camping under the stars.
Goodbye to fireworks.
Goodbye popsicles and lemonade stands.
Goodbye snowcones the size of my head.
Goodbye to no responsibilities.
Goodbye to summer.
I've done so many fun things and had so many spontaneous adventures this summer. I've gotten pulled over by cops and won at lazer tag. I've done by fair share of sleeping until noon. Seeing midnight movies and musicals. My sister got married. I still have so much I want to do. And so little time left to do it.
In a few days I'll be going back to school, and the juggling act of homework, football games, dances, rehearsals, and other responsiblities will begin and we'll count down again 'til summer.
Until then.

BATMAN
I know it came out forever ago. BUUUUT I went to go see Batman at midnight.
Since May my friend J.A. has been super excited. Sending links with Batman music and Batman trailers.
And calling himself Batman. SO MUCH.
It was quite entertaining.
I made t-shirts, shoes, and some shorts ALL batman.
FINALLY the Batman night came and J.A., J*Coy, Fredster and I went to the theater.
After HOURS of waiting (its ok because J.A. bought me DELICIOUS smelling lotion)
we finally got into the theather. And all three of the boys decided it was hilarious to speak like Batman until the movie started.

Can I just say. IT WAS FABULOUS. J*Coy has seen it at least 3 more times since then. And J.A still won't shut up about it.
I do love me some Batman.

We are Gathered Here Today....
I know this is a TAD behind but my sister got married a bit ago. So I'm sharing some pictures
Enjoy. :)
Then there was the bridal shower. Karaoke, our gay waiter named Ryan?, tons and tons of fun.
And my sister was quite the beautiful bride.
We even had bloomers!
Congratulations Karen and Scott :)
