Fireworks and Friends

So as you all know, yesterday was the Fourth of July. My track record for the Fourth of July is... not very good... 2 years ago I met Arizona on the Fourth and participated in a flash mob with Ren

but I also almost got lit on fire... Several times... Last year Smalls and I  camped out for the parade but that didn't exactly go over well... Though we did get to chalk University Avenue, which isn't exactly a small accomplishment.

This year I was hoping for better events to happen. The day didn't start out so hot or maybe I should say cool. 9 fires burning in Utah and the atmosphere full of smoke (wasn't exactly the coolest day temperature wise). So much smoke you can't even see a star. It was quite depressing. Then most of the day I cleaned and went fabric shopping with my mom for my sister's wedding. Not exactly how I wanted to spend my Fourth of July. Then night time rolled around and my family always has this thing we call "Cul-de-sac of Fire" to my surprise J*Coy, Batman and Smalls all ended up coming. It was quite fabulous. My neighbor Ginger brought along Cute Cousin #1 and we all have a fabulous time. I challenged Ginger to get Toothless Wonder's number. When he finally showed up ( with Chicky and Youngster) she got it quick as a wink( the number I mean). Then she had to go home, but the rest of us went on many adventures. TO T.W's house!! Ate bunches of food, steamrolled on the tramp and off to the rock for fireworks. After a FABULOUS firework show we headed back up to T.W's house and it was getting pretty late so Smalls and Youngster took me home. With traffic bumper to bumper we found a new way to entertain ourselves.... Singing at strangers in the cars next to us. So thank you random guy who sang right back, we appreciate it. Oh and that awkward guy who felt really uncomfortable about it, thanks for being a good sport. I came home with my ears literally ringing.
